Job description

Position Title: Continuous Improvement Supply Chain Intern

Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking highly motivated Interns to join our team. As an Intern, you will be taking on impactful work, while engaging in dynamic learning experiences and working as a valued member of our team.

 

General internship requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this job opening.
  • Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, reference verification, post-offer drug testing, and background check
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Must have access to reliable transportation

What projects will this intern work on?

  • Expediting orders to ensure timely delivery and workflow efficiency
  • Assisting with purchase order (PO) management, including tracking and updates
  • Collecting and analyzing data from suppliers to improve processes
  • Collaborating with the IT department to update and maintain internal systems

What is expected from an intern?
