Job Summary:
Computer World Services Corp (CWS) is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven System Administrator โ€“ Windows who is responsible for the daily configuration, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise Windows server environments supporting NIEHS mission-critical systems. This role ensures stable, secure, and efficient system performance across physical and virtual infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Perform daily configuration and operation of Windows Server systems in a client/server enterprise environment
โ€ข Install, configure, patch, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and associated services
โ€ข Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise identity services
โ€ข Ensure system stability, availability, and compliance with organizational standards
โ€ข Participate in system engineering activities including deployment, configuration, and integration of Windows-based infrastructure
โ€ข Assist in optimizing system performance and resource utilization across server environments
โ€ข Support system capacity analysis and planning for growth, scalability, and workload distribution
โ€ข Assist in implementation of system upgrades, patches, and infrastructure enhancements

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022 or equivalent)
โ€ข Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP management
โ€ข VMware vSphere / vCenter environments
โ€ข Enterprise backup and recovery systems (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, or equivalent)
โ€ข System monitoring and performance analysis tools
โ€ข Basic system capacity planning and resource optimization
โ€ข Troubleshooting enterprise Windows infrastructure issues
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
โ€ข 5+ years of experience in Windows system administration in enterprise environments
โ€ข Experience supporting VMware virtualized environments
โ€ข Experience with enterprise backup and monitoring systems
โ€ข Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
