Job description

Overview
Outpatient Physical Therapist
Synergy Physical Therapy & Wellness
Full-Time | Ashtabula, Ohio | Up to $90,000 Base Salary + Incentive Pay
Want to practice physical therapy without a cookie-cutter caseload or a rushed, high-volume care model?
At Synergy Physical Therapy & Wellness, you will have the autonomy, team support, and clinical variety to treat the whole person. You will use your clinical judgment, build meaningful patient relationships, and work in a practice that prioritizes quality care over volume.
Synergy is a PT-led outpatient practice serving Northeast Ohio from clinics in Ashtabula, Berea, and Willoughby Hills. This full-time opening is based in our Ashtabula clinic. We are a collaborative, owner-operated team where clinicians have a voice in patient care and real support to keep growing. You may even be greeted by Lucas, our resident therapy dog.
Why PTs Choose Synergy
Clear compensation: $75,000-$90,000 base salary, plus additional earning potential through a robust incentive plan
  • Flexible scheduling: Full-time scheduling options designed to support work-life balance and candidates commuting from surrounding communities
  • Comprehensive benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off
  • Relocation support: Reimbursement available for eligible candidates
  • Mentorship and growth: In-house training, experienced colleagues, and opportunities to develop specialty skills
  • A true team: A collaborative group of PTs, PTAs, and support staff who genuinely have your back
Build a Career Beyond Generalist Orthopedics
Your caseload may include:
  • Orthopedic conditions and post-operative rehabilitation
  • Low back pain and sacroiliac joint dysfunction
  • Vertigo and vestibular rehabilitation
  • TMJ dysfunction
  • Women's health, pelvic floor care, and transgender health
  • Dry needling, bodywork, and biofeedback

You do not need to arrive trained in every specialty. If you are clinically curious and interested in expanding your skills, you will have the mentorship, exposure, and support to do it.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care
  • Treat a varied outpatient caseload and progress treatment based on each patient's goals and response
  • Educate patients and provide practical strategies they can use outside the clinic
  • Collaborate with PTAs and other team members to support continuity of care and strong outcomes

Qualifications
What You Will Bring
  • Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Active Ohio Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of patients
  • A collaborative, patient-first mindset and genuine interest in continuing to grow clinically

If you want to treat with intention, grow into specialty care, and work with a team that is genuinely invested in you, we would love to meet you.
Pay Range
USD $75,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
