The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with business acumen, market research expertise, and the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations that influence decision‑making.

What you’ll do
  • Monitor market trends, industry dynamics, competitive activity, customer needs, and growth opportunities across North America and Latin America.
  • Assess market size, growth rates, and emerging opportunities by category, application, geography, and customer segment.
  • Track competitor strategies, product launches, investments, pricing trends, acquisitions, market positioning, and go‑to‑market activities.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research using internal data, syndicated research, customer input, external sources, and market intelligence platforms.
  • Translate market, customer, competitive, and commercial insights into clear recommendations for strategy, portfolio, innovation, and business growth.
  • Support annual strategic planning, portfolio reviews, market entry analysis, innovation prioritization, and selected M&A or partnership discussions.
  • Develop executive‑ready reports, dashboards, presentations, and summaries that simplify complex information for business audiences.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Innovation, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regional Leadership teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying market opportunities and potential risks.
  • Foster a data‑driven culture by helping teams understand and leverage market insights in decision‑making.
What makes you a good fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in market intelligence, market research, business strategy, commercial analytics, product management, consulting, or a related function.
  • Experience conducting market sizing, growth rate analysis, and market opportunity assessments to support strategic and commercial decisions.
  • Experience supporting B2B industrial markets, consumer goods, manufacturing, chemicals, materials, specialty products, or related industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Experience developing executive‑level presentations, dashboards, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency with market research methodologies, competitive analysis, syndicated data, and business intelligence tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working across multiple countries, regions, or cultures.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in specialty chemicals, adhesives, coatings, polymers, packaging, construction materials, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Experience supporting both consumer and industrial market segments.
  • Familiarity with market intelligence, data visualization and CRM platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar tools.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
