Job description

Swim Team Coach:


The Buffalo Grove Park District is currently seeking a Swim Coach.ย  Swim Coaches help to develop the competitive swimming skills and knowledge of program participants. ย The swim coach will be responsible for coaching groups for either the Hurricanes or Cyclones swim team, attending and coaching at swim meets. ย 

Must have good communication skills with children as well as adults. This position requires eveningย and weekend hours - typically 2-4 days during the week.

Qualifications:

โ€ข ย  ย At least 18 years of age.

โ€ขย  ย  5+ years experience as a swimming instructor or coach preferred.

โ€ข ย  ย Experience as a competitive swimmer is preferred.

โ€ข ย  ย Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid.

โ€ข ย  ย Lifeguard certification is required.


Salary: ย 
$18 - $23 per hour depending on qualifications.
