Swift Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to enhance our Orthopedic Outpatient Unit in Cape Coral, Florida. In this vital role, you will utilize your expertise to impact the lives of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans to maximize patients’ recovery and functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including assessing medical histories and physical conditions to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

  • Implement and modify treatment protocols based on ongoing evaluations and patient progress while ensuring compliance with best practices and healthcare regulations.

  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare practitioners to deliver coordinated care and address any changes in patient conditions promptly.

  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, rehabilitation exercises, and home care to enhance recovery and optimize long-term health outcomes.

  • Complete timely patient documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring clarity and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Engage in regular facility meetings and training sessions to stay updated on advancements within the field and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practice.

  • Maintain open communication with all stakeholders, including patients, family members, and insurance providers, to address concerns and streamline care transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Swift Therapy Center, you will primarily serve individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and other mobility-restricting conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing the quality of life for a diverse range of patients, from athletes to seniors.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

  • Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida is necessary, along with any relevant certifications.

  • Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) from the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with a background in outpatient orthopedic therapy, patient education, and rehabilitation protocol implementation will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and evidence-based practice guidelines is highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
