Job description

Swedish Medical Group is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife in a new Midwifery practice at its Edmonds, Washington location. This team aims to eliminate health disparities and improve perinatal outcomes through independent, anti-racist, trauma-informed, evidence-based midwifery care. Swedish Medical Group has a long history of Midwifery practices at other sitesand is now expanding Midwifery to its Edmonds location. Ideal candidate is adaptable, mission-oriented, and can work independently.

  • The practice will be initially focused on inpatient care (OB triage, intrapartum and postpartum); over time, the practice will expand to full scope Midwifery with their own patient panel: a mix of perinatal care, GYN problem visits and annual exams, family planning, and lactation
  • Full time role 0.8 to 1.0 FTE
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience strongly preferred
  • AMCB Certification, active DEA, WA State RN/ARNP license and certification from an accredited Nurse Midwifery program required
  • Compensation is between $135,255 and $184,626 per year
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
  • As a non-profit organization, Swedish is an eligible employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
