ComResource is looking for a Platform Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, design, and implement technology solutions to build and progress technology strategies aligned with Capital Markets Commodities and Swap Data Repository (SDR) lines of business.
  • Liaise with software vendors for systems utilized by Capital Markets Commodities and Swap Dealer Compliance lines of business.
  • Stay abreast of upcoming changes and enhancements in vendor software and assess their impact on the business.
  • Assist with designing solutions to incorporate software changes and work with business partners to ensure effective implementation.
  • Seek to gain a full understanding of the business technology roadmap and make recommendations on continued utilization or elimination of current third-party software solutions.
  • Implement and maintain new features and capabilities while continuously improving the quality of technical products and services.
  • Follow industry and organizational best practices and participate in communities of practice to refine and communicate them.
  • Help achieve operational excellence by automating processes and creating maintainable, supportable, and testable solutions.
  • Provide operational support and troubleshooting for the team's products and services.

Essentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering or IT work experience relevant to the position.
  • Expertise in commodities trading platforms and swap dealer compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Understanding of IT security best practices.
