Kensington Bank is seeking a strategic, relationship-focused banking leader to join our Willmar branch as a Senior Vice President of Lending, with a focus on business development. This senior leadership role will contribute to the strategy and performance of Kensington Bank by focusing on lending, treasury management, and business development, while managing an individual portfolio of complex credit relationships.

A successful Senior Vice President of Lending will:

  • Develop and execute the bank's lending strategy in alignment with organizational goals and growth objectives, while providing leadership for lending and treasury management teams.
  • Oversee all lending activities for commercial and agricultural portfolios, ensuring that credit policies, underwriting standards and regulatory requirements are being met.
  • Source and manage a small select portfolio of high-value and complex lending relationships.
  • Lead and support business development initiatives that drive loan growth, deposits, and relationships.
  • Represent Kensington Bank within the community by living our values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or the equivalent banking experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progress banking experience with leadership responsibilities; experience within a community bank preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities with proven business development and relationship management skills.
