DESCRIPTION

Acosta Sales Agency is seeking a senior operational leader to drive organizational transformation across sales operations, to improve execution and drive profitable growth at scale.

The Operational Excellence Leader will play a critical role in advancing the operating model for a national sales organization, bringing structure, rigor, insight, and scalability to how teams plan, measure, prioritize, and execute against business objectives.

This role partners closely with senior leadership across Sales, Business Insights, Finance, HR, IT, and the executive team to strengthen decision-making, improve performance visibility, modernize workflows, and embed scalable practices that support profitable growth. The ideal leader will bring a strong blend of sales operations, CPG, retail and commercial acumen, operational discipline, analytics fluency, change leadership, and the ability to translate strategy into measurable execution.

  • Lead enterprise-level operational excellence initiatives that improve sales execution, planning, reporting, and performance visibility.

  • Turn complex data, processes, and business needs into clear dashboards, scorecards, tools, and operating routines leaders can use.

  • Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Business Insights, Finance, HR, IT, and executive leadership to connect strategy to execution.

  • Champion AI, automation, and digital enablement by bringing practical use cases, workflows, training, and adoption models to life.

  • Support annual planning, business reviews, workload and resource visibility, and financial alignment across the organization.

  • Drive change management strategies that ensure tools, training, and resources are adopted consistently across teams and embedded into daily routines.

  • Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing team focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and measurable business impact.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A proven commercial operations, sales operations, business operations, retail, and/or CPG leader with 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • A people leader who knows how to develop talent, influence cross-functional teams, and lead through change.

  • A clear communicator who can simplify complexity, connect insights to action, and engage senior stakeholders with confidence.

  • Experience with business intelligence, creation of dashboards, scorecards, Power BI or similar reporting tools, CRM reporting, and operational planning.

  • A forward-thinking mindset with interest or experience in AI adoption, automation, digital transformation, and scalable ways of working.
