Job description

Job Title: Medical Receptionist
Location: Camden, NJ
Rate: 18-23/hr
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing patient records, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Verify patient information and update medical records
- Collect co-pays and process insurance information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience working in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Proficient in using office software systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
