Job Overview

Home Place Pastures is seeking an energetic Brand Ambassador to champion our ethically raised, pasture-to-table meats. You will be the face of our brand at local markets, grocery demos, and community events. Your main goal is to educate consumers, drive retail sales, and build lasting community relationships.
Key Responsibilities

  • Engage Customers: Greet shoppers, share our farm story, and prepare samples of our high-quality meat products.
  • Drive Sales: Convert product tastings into immediate retail purchases at designated store locations.
  • Event Setup: Transport promotional materials, set up sampling stations, and tear down displays.
  • Product Education: Explain pasture-raised farming practices, animal welfare standards, and product benefits clearly.
  • Report Insights: Track inventory usage, gather customer feedback, and report sales metrics after events.
Qualifications

  • Certified Safe: Valid food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent local food handler permit) required. Can obtain after hiring.
  • Passionate Advocate: Deep interest in sustainable agriculture, local food systems, and high-quality culinary products.
  • Outgoing Personality: Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to connect with strangers and share enthusiasm about HPP products. 
  • Reliable Transit: Valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle to transport event gear.
  • Organizing Demo Material: BA must be able to keep demo material clean and organized and communicate any replacement needs for Demo to HPP
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long (+/- 5 hours) periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Flexible Schedule: Availability to work weekends and peak retail hours.

  • 1099 employee: $150 per 5 hour demo.
  • $150 bonus for completing 8 demo’s per month.
