Job Purpose

Year-Round Internreporting tothe Market Research Supervisorfor an opportunity to learn, analyze and report out on Automotive and Industrial markets. Responsibilities includeregional and global market research and analysis,customer and competitive analysis, database entry and maintenance,and presenting research findings to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and collecting market intelligence relevant to BorgWarner's business.

  • Monitoring customerand competitoractivity for important communications.

  • Communicating regional and global market movements to BorgWarner'sGlobal Market Researchteam

  • Locating,interpretingand presenting data from external sources such asMobility Global,Omdia,MarkLines, Global Data, etc.

  • Supporting research leads with specific projects, reports, and tasks for BorgWarner's business units.

WhatWe'reLooking For

  • Ability to report onsite to our Auburn Hills campuses at least 3 days a week.

  • Currently a full-time student enrolled in an accredited college or university.

  • Studentwith a minimum one - twoyearscollege experience in Business, Marketing or Engineering related fields.

  • Candidate has excellent communication skills andinterestin the automotive industry.

  • Must have a strong work ethic and be naturally curious.

  • Recent experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.

  • Recent experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBIor equivalent is preferred.

  • Technical and newsletter/blog-style writing experience is preferred.
