Job Description
As a Sr. Program Manager at Fresh for our Digital Studio, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams on complex projects with multiple workstreams through the full project lifecycle, ensuring that complex deliverables are met on time, within scope, and exceeding quality standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations and building strong relationships through excellence in delivery.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the program-level execution of program initiatives by managing interdependencies across multiple workstreams, ensuring program-wide alignment on scope, budget, and delivery milestones
  • Ensure project goals, objectives and success criteria are clear with internal teams and clients
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including status reports, meeting notes, and action items.
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues and risks and collaborate with team leads to determine solutions and recommendations; seek help from Studio leadership when necessary to resolve high-touch issues and risks.
  • Lead and facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning sessions, ensuring alignment on objectives, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps across the program.
  • Act as a consultative partner by proactively resetting client expectations; present viable options, recommend solutions with clear trade-offs, and establish sustainable communication cadences to move the team from reactive execution to proactive planning.
  • Utilize effective escalation processes to ensure high-quality delivery, address concerns, remove obstacles, and provide transparent and productive communication.
  • Establish and manage project timelines and deliverables, pivoting plans when needed to meet changing requirements on large complex projects with minimal supervision.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams to deliver to client expectations and maintain a high-quality bar for our work.
  • Monitor project progress daily and provide weekly reports on project status (budget, variance, milestones/deliveries, issues/risks, decisions) to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead meetings with clients and internal teams, facilitating conversations to reach objectives and decisions, tracking action items, and tailoring communication to bridge gaps between technical execution teams and executive stakeholders through value-driven reporting that translates complex delivery risks into actionable business insights.
  • Lead teams in following internal processes for delivery, enhance processes to generate project efficiencies and increase velocity when needed, and suggest overall changes to improve the quality of our delivery to clients.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level Project Managers to improve delivery velocity, process adherence, and client communication skills. Actively assess team health and implement strategies to uplevel struggling delivery teams
  • Lead the project estimation process-including capturing PM activities, challenging discipline estimates for accuracy, and creating detailed estimates for new projects, scope extensions, and change requests.
  • Negotiate and resolve conflict, both within the team and with clients.
  • Draft scope content for SOWs and change requests.
  • Ensure resource forecasts are up to date for your projects on a weekly basis.
  • Review and approve project invoices.

This position includes frequent travel - one trip per month to the client site and occasionally additional trips dependent on current deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in project or program management of digital products and services (design/UX, developers, strategists)
  • Experience in a consulting or agency environment, with a strong ability to manage external client expectations while balancing internal team needs
  • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to client and internal leadership, shifting discussions from tactical delivery status to strategic opportunity and growth.
  • Proficiency in agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage complex program with multiple workstreams
  • Capable of developing strong solutions without supervision
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to function independently and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong ability to lead conversations with clients and present information to effectively manage projects
  • Proactive and detail oriented with excellent organization and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project or Program Management certifications are a bonus but not required
