Title: Sustainability Program Manager
Job Type: Full time

Summary: The Sustainability Program Manager is responsible for leading and expanding CCGโ€™s sustainability initiatives across operations, suppliers, products, and customer engagement. This position drives ESG programs, sustainability certifications, customer sustainability support, supplier engagement, and cross-functional sustainability strategy.
This position works closely with leadership, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and strategic partners to support programs involving ESG reporting, Scope 3 initiatives, ISCC+ supply chain programs, EcoVadis, sustainability documentation, and environmentally responsible product development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sustainability & ESG Program Management
  • Lead CCGโ€™s sustainability roadmap and ESG program execution
  • Support sustainability initiatives aligned with customer, supplier, and corporate objectives
  • Coordinate sustainability metrics, reporting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with development of sustainability goals tied to operations, sourcing, packaging, and product strategy
Certifications & Compliance
  • Manage sustainability-related certifications and frameworks including:
    • EcoVadis
    • SBTi
    • ISCC
  • Coordinate audits, documentation collection, corrective actions, and annual renewals
  • Maintain supplier sustainability records and supporting documentation
Customer Sustainability Support
  • Support customer ESG surveys, sustainability questionnaires, and supplier qualification requests
  • Develop sustainability declarations, material statements, and supporting documentation packages
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams on sustainability messaging and customer-facing materials
  • Support sustainability-related customer meetings and strategic initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with engineering, sourcing, quality, operations, and product management teams
  • Support sustainable material selection initiatives and lower-carbon product strategies
  • Assist in evaluating supplier sustainability performance and improvement opportunities
  • Help implement scalable sustainability systems and internal processes
Industry & Market Awareness
  • Monitor sustainability trends within bioprocessing, single-use systems, and pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Track evolving customer requirements related to Scope 3 emissions, material traceability, circularity, and sustainable sourcing

Desired Education & Experience:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, compliance, quality systems, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience supporting sustainability frameworks or certifications preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience within biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred
