What is a surveyor apprenticeship?

A Surveyor Apprenticeship is a structured training program that combines paid on-the-job experience with classroom learning to prepare individuals for a career in surveying. Apprentices learn to measure and map land, collect data, and work with advanced surveying technology under the supervision of experienced professionals. The apprenticeship typically lasts between two to five years and leads to recognized qualifications, helping apprentices develop the skills needed to become professional surveyors. It offers a practical pathway into the industry without the need for a traditional university degree.
