Our client is designed for authoring and launching time-critical market research surveys in record speeds so that their clients can quickly build N and have results sooner.
Our client's solution provides consultants and investors with access to quantitative survey insights on a daily basis. Their clients leverage their custom-built platform and survey engineering team to launch surveys, and gather insights, faster than their competition.
Our client's leadership team comes from the consulting and investment worlds, bringing a strong understanding of the challenges that come with conducting primary research on short timelines. This understanding informs the continued evolution of our client's solution to this day, an understanding that their team is ready and able to run through walls to help clients accomplish their goals. Our client's team is proud to be fully remote since their founding in 2016, with survey directors placed in over 40 cities worldwide.
The Role
As a Survey Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's survey programming projects to success. This is a dynamic role that blends individual contribution, project management, client engagement, and account management. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that clients receive the highest quality survey programming services, from initial design to final data analysis.
The Responsibilities
  • Individual Contribution: Leverage your Python programming skills to contribute directly to survey programming and data analysis tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every project.
  • Project Management: Manage 3-5 simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with external vendors to deliver respondents for surveys. Ensure timely and precise delivery of survey results, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Pre-launch: Guide clients on the optimal structure for their survey projects, helping them align survey design with their research objectives.
    • Launch: Work closely with clients during live survey creation, overseeing questionnaire development and key survey elements. Lead the quality assurance process to ensure all logic, conditionality, and programming elements are correctly implemented and functional.
    • Analytics: Analyze survey data and provide clients with actionable insights, helping them draw meaningful conclusions from their research.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing hands-on support for urgent changes or updates as needed. Develop and maintain client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and fostering ongoing partnerships.
  • Product Management: Identify and flag patterns, optimize processes, and localize products based on client feedback and needs. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our client's services.
  • Client Guidance: Offer expert advisory on survey design and content, helping clients achieve their research goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Special Projects: Engage in special projects or other tasks as required, contributing to innovation and the continuous enhancement of our client's offerings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in engineering, information technology, business, economics, or international relations. Master's degree would be an advantage.
  • Understanding and/or experience with Python and/or JavaScript programming.
  • Proven client-facing experience with a customer-centric approach, strong teamwork skills, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to going above and beyond for clients.
  • Business acumen in private markets, including knowledge of private equity, due diligence processes, and the role of primary research in these areas.

Benefits
  • Innovation at Speed: Be a part of a company that is setting new benchmarks in survey programming, working with cutting-edge technology and high-profile clients.
  • Global Impact: Work with some of the most prestigious consulting firms and private equity clients across the globe.
  • Growth Opportunities: Have the chance to expand your skills, manage complex projects, and contribute to the strategic growth of the company.
  • Collaborative Environment: Join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and client satisfaction above all.

If you are a motivated, client-focused professional with a passion for delivering top-tier survey programming services, we encourage you to apply. Join our client and help them continue to redefine the industry standard.
