Our client in Western Illinois is actively seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist First Assistant (STFA)for their Urology Office!


Position Summary

The Surgical Technologist First Assistant (STFA) / Surgical Assistant is a key member of the surgical team, providing immediate assistance to the surgeon during urology procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, exceptional technical competence, and a thorough knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile technique.


The STFA supports procedures for patients across all age populations, including neonates through geriatrics, while demonstrating an understanding of developmental and functional age-related needs.


Successful candidates will consistently demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and compliance with organizational standards, policies, and code of conduct requirements.


Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Days, MondayFriday


Qualifications
