Contract: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate : $ 1400 To $ 1600/Week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Scrub Tech to join the Operating Room team at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare. The ideal candidate will prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, assist surgeons during procedures, and ensure the availability of instruments and equipment for safe and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the operating room with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.

  • Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.

  • Anticipate the surgeon's needs and provide instruments efficiently.

  • Ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly before procedures.

  • Document surgical activities accurately in the EMR (EPIC).

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of Operating Room/Scrub Tech experience.

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAAHEP/ABHES) or NBSTSA Certification.

  • Current BLS Certification required.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and sterile surgical techniques.

  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
