The Orthopedic Hand Surgeon provides comprehensive evaluation, surgical, and non-surgical treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremity. This role includes management of traumatic injuries, degenerative conditions, congenital abnormalities, and work-related or repetitive-use disorders. The surgeon works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care.
Key Responsibilities-
Evaluate and treat disorders of the hand, wrist, and upper extremity

Perform elective and emergent surgical procedures within the scope of hand surgery

Manage traumatic injuries, including fractures, tendon, nerve, and soft tissue injuries

Provide non-operative care such as injections, splinting, and rehabilitation planning
-
Interpret diagnostic imaging and test results

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Participate in call coverage for hand and upper-extremity trauma as required

Collaborate with therapists, advanced practice providers, and referring physicians

Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatment options, and recovery

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
