Join Our Team as an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant!
Are you a skilled and compassionate dental professional looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity? Kimball & Beecher is seeking an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our team and work alongside our Oral Surgeon. This unique role involves traveling between all nine of our Iowa locations: Des Moines, Marshalltown, Bettendorf, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Bondurant, and Fairfield, so flexibility and adaptability are key!
Weโ€™re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with patients, and is committed to delivering top-notch oral surgery care.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Oral Surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures

  • Prepare surgical instruments and ensure a sterile environment

  • Take and process radiographs as needed

  • Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and support

  • Help patients feel comfortable and informed before, during, and after procedures

  • Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the dental team at each location

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of Iowa required

  • Experience in oral surgery is a plus, but we are willing to train the right dental assistant candidate

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
