Job description

Job Summary

We are hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics / Maintenance Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady work, career growth, and the opportunity to become a permanent employee.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and routine equipment inspections
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools
  • Repair and maintain:
    • Electric motors
    • Gearboxes
    • Conveyors
    • Hydraulic systems
    • Pneumatic systems
    • Production machinery
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
  • Complete maintenance work orders and documentation using a CMMS
  • Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and all plant safety procedures
  • Communicate equipment issues and repair recommendations with supervisors and production personnel
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in one or more skilled trades:
    • Electrical
    • Hydraulics
    • Plumbing
    • Welding/Fabrication
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with production or manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of 120V-480V electrical systems
  • Ability to use multimeters and electrical diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Preventive maintenance experience
  • Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (programming not required)
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • CMMS experience preferred
  • Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Frequently bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated spaces
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
