Job description

MultiCam CNC Router Setup Technician

Location: Express Employment Professionals, Terrell Tx 75160
Pay: $22–$30/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift, Overtime Available

A day in this role

You arrive to a clean, organized cell, confirm the work order, and pull the correct tooling for a MultiCam router job. You load sheet material, call up the verified program, check offsets, and run a first-article using calipers and gauges to confirm specs against the blueprint. Throughout the run, you keep an eye on finishes and tolerances, make minor adjustments, change tools as needed, and document quality checks—all while maintaining a safe, orderly workspace.

What you’ll do
  • Set up and operate MultiCam CNC routers to produce precision parts on time
  • Stage materials, load sheets, and confirm correct machine programs prior to cutting
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to plan each operation
  • Verify part accuracy with tape measures, calipers, and other inspection instruments
  • Perform tool changes, adjust feeds/speeds, and fine-tune machine settings
  • Monitor production runs and uphold internal quality standards
  • Troubleshoot routine issues and escalate complex concerns promptly
  • Keep the work area clean and organized
  • Follow all safety rules and company procedures
Required background
  • Hands-on experience operating CNC routers or similar CNC machines
  • Familiarity with MultiCam systems preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical prints and drawings
  • Solid math and measurement skills
  • Comfort using hand tools and precision measuring equipment
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong quality focus and attention to detail
  • Consistent attendance and a reliable work ethic
