We are looking for a Supervisor in our Private Client Services Tax (PCS) Department. As a Supervisor in PCS, you will be responsible for: 

  • Prepare and review federal and state returns, extensions, and quarterly projections, focusing mainly on high-net-worth individuals, trust returns, and affiliated entities
  • Interact closely with clients year round to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely manner
  • Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax saving strategies
  • Knowledge of Federal and State tax law
  • Perform tax research to resolve issues
  • Trains, develops and mentors junior staff 
  • Takes an active approach to building network (internal and external) and participates in Firm business development opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in taxation preferred  
  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm 
  • CPA preferred
  • Possess advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws –  individual, trust, gifts, and partnership taxation  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong client services skills
  • Be highly motivated and able to work individually and in team settings
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM and Caseware is a plus
