Job description

Mission Support Specialist

This position requires an active Secret clearance to be considered.

The Mission Support Specialist will assist with CBP's Administrative, Data Management and Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Coordination and Reporting tasks.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay commensurate with experience.

Mission Support Specialist Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitate meetings and ad hoc projects, managing agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring stakeholder updates.
  • Plan and execute meetings with actionable outcomes for the PMO.
  • Track and report data in systems like TRIRIGA, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and quality control.
  • Assist in contract-related tasks, manage purchase logs, research vendors, track funding, and inventory received items.
  • Create reports, maintain files, and provide administrative support, including document preparation and travel arrangements.
  • Conduct cross-training for new MSS positions within the PMO.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the manager, streamlining communications, tasks, and meetings.
  • Coordinate meetings and provide logistical support, including travel arrangements and agenda preparation.
  • Work with the Training Coordinator on training efforts and assist with special projects.
  • Prepare monthly M&R Coordination reports, track project status, and manage task orders and funding documentation.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Must have experience using SAP (ERP System).
  • Must have experience in IBM TRIRIGA Integrated Workplace Management System
  • Office management and data analytics experience desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
