Job description

Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Sales Support Manager to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
The Sales Support Manager is responsible for managing sales-related support to sales staff, completing administrative tasks related to operational activities, and implementing new policies to make sales processes more efficient. They also manage cooperation with cross-functional teams to introduce new products or services Sales support managers also deal with logistics issues and use their project management skills to reach all organizational goals. Apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the sales administration team so that the organization's sales force is effectively supported and all sales transactions are processed efficiently, accurately and economically. 
- Plans, prioritizes, and schedule the team's activities so that resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met. 
- Establishes sales support processes and support activities to ensure the most efficient sales processes. 
- Reviews incoming proposal (new/growth RFPs/RFIs and proactive quotes) for strategic and capabilities match and prepares contracts for approval and delivery. 
- Monitors the status of sales administration activities to identify problem areas and adapt procedures to improve the overall performance of the team. 
- Liaises with functional or operational area managers (for example in sales, marketing, finance, supply and logistics) to ensure that sales administration activities are integrated with other parts of the business and appropriate for current and future sales and marketing activities. 
- Oversees the most complex, large or difficult sales orders and contracts to maintain positive customer relations. 
- Leads, directs, evaluates and develops sales administration staff so that activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Other duties as assigned 
Minimum Qualifications: 
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business or electrical, mechanical, or quality engineering. 
- Master's Degree highly preferred. 
- 8 or more years of experience in selling or related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 
Work Environment: 
- This job operates in a professional office environment. 
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 
- Some travel may be required.
