Restaurant Support Manager

GV Destinations is hiring a full-time Restaurant Support Manager to help lead restaurant operations, support service teams, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance guest service, team support, and daily operational needs.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Support Manager supports the overall success of GV Destinations restaurants by assisting with daily operations, leading shifts and events, supporting Outlet Managers, and helping maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, staffing, training, food quality, and profitability.

  • Lead restaurant shifts and events from start to finish based on business needs.
  • Support daily restaurant operations across outlets.
  • Direct and support service staff to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Assist with scheduling, training, onboarding, coaching, and team development.
  • Help maintain accountability through clear communication and follow-up.
  • Oversee setup and teardown of restaurant and event spaces.
  • Inspect service areas, equipment, and guest spaces for cleanliness and readiness.
  • Coordinate food service timing with Chefs, Managers, Event Coordinators, and team members.
  • Support inventory, ordering, reservations, POS, delivery, and electronic platform processes.
  • Assist with cash accountability, bar tracking, final bill review, and end-of-day procedures.
  • Contribute ideas that improve service, operations, menus, beverages, and the guest experience.

Schedule Requirements

  • Full-time, year-round position.
  • 40+ hours per week; typical 5-day workweek.
  • Shifts vary based on business needs, restaurant operations, and events.
  • Two days off may not be consecutive.
  • Must be available nights, weekends, holidays, and during seasonal business demands.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a professional, service-minded leader who can stay organized, communicate clearly, and support both guests and team members in a busy hospitality environment.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous restaurant, hospitality, food and beverage, event, or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to lead with professionalism, positivity, fairness, and accountability.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally.
  • Comfortable using restaurant systems, reservation platforms, inventory tools, POS processes, and business technology.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments and weather conditions.
  • Ability to move throughout crowded spaces and multi-floor areas, including stairs.
  • Must follow all State, Federal, and company liquor regulations related to serving alcoholic beverages.
