Position Summary

Odyssey is recruiting for an Administrative Support Analyst. In this role, you will support PM Soldier Survivability (SSV), which is located at Ft. Belvoir, VA. The support required under this effort includes engineering, quality assurance and test support, acquisition support, business management support, logistics and fielding support, operations support, and administrative support. The specific task areas include program management, analysis, planning, studies, liaison, and operations support, strategic communications, engineering and logistics support, new equipment training, system test and product fielding support, acquisition and contracting support, software development and system safety, studies and analysis and quick response support.
PM SSV's mission is to equip, clothe, and protect Soldiers to maximize performance today and provide enhanced capability tomorrow. PM SSV's products protect Soldiers and allow them to operate in any condition. Product Manager Air Warrior (PdM AW), Product Manager Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM SCIE) and Product Manager Soldier Protective Equipment (PdM SPE) are subordinate Product Offices in PM SSV.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

    Provides senior executive level secretarial and administrative travel support, and human resources support for the PM and others as necessary
  • Handles sensitive or confidential information
  • Manage PM calendar using MS Outlook
  • Performs in a leadership role in providing administrative and general office support
  • Prepares a variety of documents, such as correspondence, forms, reports, statistical tables, spreadsheets, etc., using advanced skills and knowledge of word processing software
  • Advises writers and researchers in matters of style, syntax, and usage to improve the general quality and effectiveness of communications
  • Trains lower-level administrative support analyst

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Education: High School Diploma

Years of Experience: At least 10 years of experience in an administrative setting in the DoD

Preferred:

Education: BA or BS

Years of Experience: At least five years of experience in an administrative setting in the DoD

Technical Skills

  • Expert in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient with Defense Travel System
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft SharePoint

Interpersonal Skills
