SCM Consultant (Supply Chain Management Consultant) (JOB-76221)

Durham, NC (Onsite 3 Days/Week – Travel Expenses Paid)

C2C and W2 

Consulting/client-facing role.

Travel expenses paid.

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced SCM Consultant to design, optimize, and implement supply chain solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze existing supply chain processes and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

Design and implement end-to-end supply chain solutions across Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Logistics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Finance, Operations, and IT.

Configure and support SCM systems including SAP, Oracle, and other ERP platforms.

Drive demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.

Provide business process reengineering and best-practice recommendations.

Support system implementation, testing, and go-live activities.

Deliver user training and documentation for SCM processes.

Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3–10 years of experience in SCM or consulting roles.

Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including P2P, Order Management, Inventory, and Logistics.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP SCM/MM or Oracle SCM.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, SAP APO/IBP, or Oracle SCM Cloud.

Supply Chain certification such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent.

Experience with data analysis tools including Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

Knowledge of integration and automation tools.
