Job Title: MV-75 Supply Chain Project Manager

Working Pattern: Fulltime

Working location: Indianapolis, IN

As the MV-75 Supply Chain Project Manager, you will lead a cross functional team, with procurement emphasis, to achieve program objectives and deliver products and proposals to the customer at the right time, cost, quality, and responsiveness. This role shall exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, and will work closely with key stakeholders to plan, organize, and execute the supply chain activities in support of the MV-75 NPI program.

What you will be doing

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

  • Lead the development hardware supply chain efforts to achieve results acceptable to the Program, working with procurement organization on sourcing strategies
  • Lead the efforts to gain sourcing concurrence with Group Procurement if long term supplier relationship contemplated
  • Develop standardized procurement activity tracking & reporting including program, engineering, and procurement stakeholders
  • Conduct or facilitate tasks such as NDA, RFI's & RFQ's, supplier selections, Sourcing Boards, export licenses and CUI approvals as needed
  • Support procurement as needed to negotiate, prepare, issue, and control purchase orders in support of program initiatives and prototype components
  • Develop detailed supplier plans to include supply chain deliverables and work with integrated team and suppliers to execute to plan
  • Present Supplier Status internally to program, engineering, and procurement teams at multiple levels of the organization

Basic Requirements:

  • Associates degree and 7+ years of experience in project management and supply chain, OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in project management and supply chain, OR
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in project management and supply chain, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 9+ years of experience in project management and supply chain lieu of a degree
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US citizen

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Purchasing strategy, policies, processes & tools
  • Technical knowledge in supply chain management and manufacturing processes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Project Management processes, tools and techniques
  • Possesses the flexibility to respond to uncertain or ambiguous situations
  • Experience in conducting supplier readiness and technical risk assessments
  • Prior manufacturing experience to identify/advise on producability & cost reduction opportunities
  • Good understanding of R-R quality requirements & processes (MVA, FAIR, PPAP, SABRe)
  • Experience with teaching & mentoring procurement & manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with suppliers to deliver expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to consult, collaborate, and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Previous experience in proposals, New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, and costing methodologies
