Job description

Overview

Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining supply stock in all departments orprocedure areas and building relationships with staff members in the department. Responsible for supplierrelationships, requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services, and processing bill-only and consignmentrequisitions. Also responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring new products are properly reviewedprior to purchasing, keeping supply areas clean and neat, managing consignments and expiring goods,processing returns, updating shelf labels, and completing all computer software functions necessary to ensurethat the appropriate supplies and equipment are available and accurate transactions are recorded.

Qualifications

Education required: High School/GED completion

License, certification and/or registration: Must either possess or be able and willing to train for material handling license

Experience: Previous experience in supply chain operations or healthcare operations. Health care experience preferred. ERP and MIS systems preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.

Additional skills/abilities: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and the ability to use effective interpersonal and teamwork skills when working with a variety if people and situations. Must be able to organize work load, accomplish goals and objectives, and meet deadlines. Must be able to establish priorities, required and follow up in problem solving. Must have quality orientation and be attentive to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
