Your Role:
TheSupervisor, Supply Chain is responsible for Inventory Control management for Avid Bioservices and overseeing operations performed by the Supply Chain Associates, Clerks, and Coordinators.
Job Duties:
  • Establish and document inventory controls and procedures in accordance with accounting and cGMP standards.
  • Monitor all materials for re-order points, recommend adjustments to re-order points if needed for each raw material.
  • Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, manufacturing, and other departments under cGMP standards, including the movement from quarantine to available raw materials.
  • Maintain and update SOP's pertaining to raw material tracking as needed.
  • Responsible for the reinforcement of cGMP aspects of a pharmaceutical warehouse.
  • Perform physical inventory counts on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis as needed.
  • Organize all raw materials in an easy to locate and count fashion.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate tracking of issued raw materials.
  • Responsible for backing up to receiving personnel.
  • Cross-train in receiving, packaging and shipping.
  • Assist with functions such as issuing vials, finished product inventory, labeling, flash freezing and GMP shipments with QA oversight.
  • Maintain all required documentation and controlled forms.
  • Assist in training new staff.
  • Provide direction to Supply Chain Clerks. Assist in coordinating activities on the floor. Help troubleshoot and handle issues when they occur.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and make recommendations for resolution.
  • Assist in review of Inventory Control documentation. Ensure that errors and oversights are properly resolved.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university and a minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to Inventory.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time onsite position. Days and hours of work are either Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; or Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
The compensation range for this role is $74,400 - $90,300 annually depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
