About The Position:
SUNY Plattsburgh is accepting applications for the update of a vita bank for part-time instructors for courses taught on the campus of SUNY Plattsburgh at Queensbury. Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching in an institution dedicated primarily to undergraduate education. They will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues, as SUNY Plattsburgh is committed to ensuring that its graduates are educated to succeed in an increasingly complex, multicultural, and interdependent world.
The vita bank exists to provide a pool of candidates who might be available to fill anticipated positions as needed.
Required Qualifications:
M.A. in Psychology required, Ph.D. preferred. Ability to use the ANGEL course management system to provide on line courses and/or support regular courses is desirable. Successful candidates will have demonstrated an ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators.
