• Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients through active listening and empathy.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Continuously review and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment progress, adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Engage in professional development through ongoing training and participation in clinical Team meetings.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sunrise Haven, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. You will be instrumental in creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, helping them gain insights and tools for managing their mental health more effectively.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Illinois is mandatory.
• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse and comprehensive caseload efficiently.
• Proficient in telehealth platforms and virtual therapy modalities.

• Experience providing therapy to individuals and groups through telehealth is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Familiarity with a wide range of therapeutic approaches and modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
