Job description

Summit Medical Group's Central Laboratory

Summit Medical Group's Central Laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our Laboratory Team! This is a full-time day shift 40-hour per week opportunity. The selected applicant can pick from working five (8 hour) shifts/week or four (10 hour) shifts/week. No weekends or holidays!! Frequent four-day weekends scheduled off (off Friday through Monday)! Excellent salary and benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance; long- and short-term disability insurance and life insurance; vacation and sick time, 401k with a generous company match, safe-harbor contribution, and profit sharing, plus more! We have a new laboratory which opened in the summer of 2023 with many new lab instruments.

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related science preferred.

Experience: One year of clinical laboratory experience preferred but not required.

Certification/License: Tennessee Medical Technologist General license preferred. ASCP certification required.
