School Psychologist, Preschool - Summit ESC
Term: 2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:
โ€ข Master's Degree in school psychology
โ€ข Valid School Psychologist License Issued by the Ohio Board of Psychology
โ€ข Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
โ€ข Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Board may find appropriate, or acceptable
โ€ข Contributes to evaluations utilizing diagnostic instruments and techniques appropriate for the area of disability or suspected disability
โ€ข Consults with teachers, parents, and other educational personnel on issues related to the education of children with disabilities to ensure the provision of the most appropriate education program
โ€ข Conducts formative assessments (CBM's; reading/math probes)
โ€ข Assists school staff in implementing or modifying instructional strategies, classroom management procedures, and interventions
โ€ข Assists in the implementation of IDEIA
โ€ข Keeps abreast of new developments in the field and serves as a resource for other staff members
โ€ข All other duties as assigned
