Overall Job Summary

Tractor Supply Company is currently hiring for our 2027 Marketing Summer Internship Program at our Store Support Center located in Brentwood, TN!

The Marketing Summer Internship is an 11-week program designed for students interested in building a career in marketing. Interns gain hands-on experience supporting key marketing initiatives while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative retail environment.

Throughout the summer, interns may gain exposure to areas such as creative development, digital and social media, marketing analytics, customer engagement, and local events. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects, analyze marketing performance, develop customer-facing content, and support campaigns and events. The program provides an opportunity to strengthen creative, analytical, and communication skills while learning how Marketing builds brand awareness, drives customer engagement, and supports the growth of the nation's largest rural lifestyle retailer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
  • Content & Creative Development: Assist with developing marketing content and collateral across digital, social, email, and other customer-facing channels. 
  • Creative Collaboration: Work with graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to develop marketing collateral. 
  • Campaign Support: Assist with the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives. 
  • Market Research: Research industry trends, customer preferences, competitors, and other factors that inform marketing strategies. 
  • Data Analysis: Use data analysis tools to extract insights from marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations. 
  • Customer Engagement: Assist in developing and executing customer engagement strategies and initiatives. 
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Creative mindset with an interest in brand, content, and customer engagement. 
  • Foundational understanding of marketing concepts, digital channels, and social media platforms. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify insights. 
  • Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, retail, and customer-focused business strategies. 
  • Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship.
