Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Direct Hire
Shift: Days & Nights Available

Compensation
$32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000 (Nights) / $7,500 (Days)
Relocation Assistance: Available through sign-on bonus after 100 days of employment

Additional Earnings:
- Queue Care Add-On: +$2.00/hr
- Night Add-On: +$2.00/hr
- Night Shift Differential: 15% of base rate (varies)

Join a 31-bed Medical/Surgical unit at the region's largest nonprofit hospital. With a 1:4-6 nurse-to-patient ratio, this unit provides care for a diverse post-surgical population including abdominal, urological, thyroidectomy, mastectomy, oral, dermatology, and general surgical patients. RNs of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, with full training provided.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct post-operative and medical-surgical nursing care
- Monitor patient recovery and clinical status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient education

Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN required or completion within 5 years (enrollment within 6 months)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
