Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe. PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Paddle Board Rental Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences on the water while maintaining the highest standards of safety and equipment care. This position combines instruction, guest service, equipment management, and daily operations, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and engaging with guests in an active environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide friendly, professional service to all guests participating in paddleboard rentals

  • Assist guests with equipment including life jacket and paddle board equipment

  • Oversee daily operations of SUP rentals, communicating with retail management any guest feedback, needs , or concerns

  • Assist with launching and retrieving paddleboards

  • Maintain rental equipment, including cleaning, inspection, and proper storage

  • Follow aquatic invasive species protocols, including cleaning and draining equipment between uses

  • Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and assist in response situations as needed

  • Complete and maintain proper documentation, including liability waivers and incident reporting

  • Adhere to all Utah boating and water safety regulations

  • Understand and communicate Deer Valley policies and procedures as needed
  • Support daily setup and breakdown of rental operations

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required

  • Prior paddleboarding, boating, or outdoor recreation experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to lift and carry paddleboards and equipment

  • Schedule includes weekends, holidays, and peak summer periods

PAY RATE:
  • $20.00 per hour
