Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is excited to welcome a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to its growing practice at Lake Mary Hospital, the newest addition to the nationally recognized Orlando Health system. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a young, expanding neonatal program while enjoying the support of one of the country's premier health systems.

The Practice & Clinical Environment
  • Brand-new hospital, opened January 2025
  • Projected 1,000 annual deliveries, with an average daily census of 6-7 in the newborn nursery
  • Level II NICU with projected ADC of 5-6 by year-end, expanding to support 2,000 annual deliveries with 24/7 coverage
  • Collaborative care model alongside a dedicated team of neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatric hospitalists
  • Flexible scheduling with a mix of 12- and 24-hour shifts, no need to rotate through Winnie Palmer
  • Full clinical support from the team at Orlando Health flagship NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a 142-bed, Level IV NICU
