The Summer Technology Assistant supports the district's technology team in preparing devices, equipment, and classrooms for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on hands-on, technical, and non-technical tasks that ensure students and staff have ready-to-use technology for the start of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and stage student iPads (labeling, inventorying, basic setup, and organization)
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize devices and related equipment
  • Assist with device collection, sorting, and storage
  • Support basic technology setup in classrooms and offices
  • Perform general inventory and asset management tasks
  • Provide assistance to full-time technology staff with summer projects and school-year preparation

Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to follow directions and complete repetitive tasks accurately
  • Basic familiarity with technology devices (iPads, laptops, etc.)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move boxes of equipment (up to ~25 40 lbs)
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and moving for extended periods
