Job description

Hudson is a big town with a small-town feel. Our comprehensive K-12 public school district is the heart of the community. Our schools are built on relationships - with each other, with students and with the community.

The Hudson School District is seeking a Summer Technology Intern to start in July 2026. This is a paid internship to work in the IT department. 

Job Summary: This position will support the IT Director and Network Admin of the Hudson School District with the following:

  •      Install new/additional wire to enhance network infrastructure. Test & Terminate to industry standard.
  • Unbox, inventory & install new computers and other IT equipment.
  • Image new computers with Windows 11 and district software.
  • Remove existing computers from classrooms and labs and assist with disposition.
  • Install classroom overhead projectors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  •     Minimum 1 year in a post high school level Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree program;
  • Basic networking experience required and experience with enterprise class networks preferred;


Working Conditions: This position is a non-benefitted, seasonal position working up to 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week (Monday - Friday) July through September 2026 with a salary of $20.00/hr.
