Summary/Job Scope:
Assisting with administrative tasks, research, project support, customer service, creative work, and technical support. Gaining practical experience, developing skills, and networking with professionals in a real-world setting. This role helps enhance communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities while contributing to various projects and tasks within the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Preference will be given to students pursuing a post-secondary education.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and be registered for full time attendance in high school or at an accredited college or
  • Students who will be returning to high school for further studies will be prioritized based on their resume submission date for any open positions that can accommodate 2-month terms (July and August).
  • Returning students will be given first priority, followed by children of employees. Non-immediate family members and friends of employees will be given secondary
  • The employment and reporting relationships of children/relatives of employees while be managed as per the VC code of conduct guidelines.
  • Applicants must be available to work the full term required by the hiring manager.
  • A maximum of two (2) weeks unpaid vacation will be allowed during the summer term and should be disclosed at the interview whenever possible.
  • All students will be assessed at the end of their work term and any student with an unsatisfactory rating will not be considered eligible for future student

Hourly Rate: $20.18
