Job description

Summer Warehouse Associate

FH Furr is seeking a dependable and hardworking Summer Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations in Fredericksburg, VA during our peak summer season. This temporary, fulltime position is responsible for assisting with inventory handling, material distribution, and general warehouse support to ensure our field teams are fully equipped for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory and materials
  • Pick, stage, and distribute parts and equipment for technicians
  • Load and unload trucks using hand trucks or pallet jacks
  • Assist with inventory organization, counts, and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safetycompliant warehouse
  • Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license in good standing (clean driving record)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus (not required)
