Since 1913, building truck bodies on Model T Ford chassis in an old converted church has evolved to creating highly customized, carefully designed and engineering pumpers, aerials, tankers and rescue units that have no equal. Today, you'll find more than 30,000 Pierce apparatuses on the road that are making a difference in people's lives, every day. To us, every step in the process of building our trucks is personal. From innovation and expertise, to the customization and service. Our trucks are designed to perform under the toughest conditions.

There is a limited number of positions available on varying shifts this year for employment during June, July, and August at an hourly rate of $16.00 per hour. Summer employment opportunities are available for any family member of team members currently working at Pierce Manufacturing and Airport Products.

Selection will be made using the following criteria:

  • Length of service of the parent, who is a current Pierce or Airport Products team members.
  • Only two children are eligible per parent unless demand exceeds applicants. The first child will be hired based on parent's seniority. The second child will be considered based on availability of positions.
  • Must be 18 years of age as of June 1, 2026.
