FULL TIME OR PART-TIME/7A-7:30P & 7:00P-7:30A SHIFTS AVAILABLE/72 OR 48 HOURS PER PAY
START DATES EVERY MONTH
A transition RN fellow is an RN who has, graduated > 1 year ago, a minimum of one (1) year of experience practicing as an RN within the last 24 months, but not within an acute care facility. Or having acute care experience, but longer than 3 years from start date.
The Transition Fellowship Program helps to refine skills and apply experiences - standardized and evidence-based training learned through the practical application of knowledge, enhances knowledge - collaborative learning environment providing the tools, resources and training for successful transition into the acute care setting, and develop professional relationships - mentor and debrief coaching from accomplished individuals helps establish a support network to guide throughout career.
Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License
Certification: Current BLS certification
Experience: A transition RN fellow is an RN who has, at minimum, one (1) year of experience practicing as an RN. The transition fellowship is designed to transition RNs who do not currently work in acute care to the hospital setting. This program is designed for candidates with backgrounds including (but not limited to): home health, school nursing, nursing instructors, long-term/extended care, public health, occupational health, and hospice.
