How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Participate in the Registered Nurse Fellowship program designed for Registered Nurses (RN) with more than one year of experience transitioning into a new clinical specialty.
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centered nursing care.
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), communicating changes promptly to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team.
  • Implement patient care plans, carry out physician and nursing orders, and support effective care coordination to improve patient outcomes and clinical quality.
  • Participate in a nurse residency or transition-to-practice program to strengthen clinical judgment, enhance nursing skills, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
