Job Summary

Summer research project with the municipal library in Gunnison. The students are designing and fabricating a drop box for the city library here. it is not tied to a course but the format is similar to a capstone project where I am instructing students to design and fabricate the client required product. The procedure is the same as capstone project where I went with reviews with the students and guiding them throughout the process. The project started from June 1st and will last until July 31st. There are currently 3 students in the team that are fabricating this project for the library. The client will be receiving their product at the end of the month.

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience with Gunnison WCU/CU Engineering Partnership Program and supporting students through their research projects.
