• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish rapport.
• Gather detailed patient histories to inform treatment planning, utilizing a holistic approach.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including structural family therapy, psychoeducation, and relationship counseling.

At Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and circumstances. Our clients often present with challenges related to relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. With a focus on empowerment and resilience, you will play a critical role in guiding clients toward healthier communication patterns and coping strategies.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical theory and practice.
• A valid MFT licensure in the state of Maryland, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines in therapeutic practice.
• Certification in advanced therapeutic modalities is preferred, with an emphasis on those effective for family dynamics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients.

• A minimum of one year of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, showcasing your ability to apply therapeutic techniques effectively.
