Job description

Angels Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring a Summer Camp Director in Mission Viejo, CA to lead our youth baseball and softball camp operations in Orange County.
This is the top on-site leadership position responsible for daily execution, staff supervision, camper safety, and overall program quality. The Summer Camp Director ensures the camp runs smoothly, professionally, and in alignment with the Angels Camp brand.
What You'll Lead:
  • Oversee all daily camp activities and staff performance
  • Implement the Angels Baseball Camps curriculum
  • Maintain a structured and safe environment for campers ages 4-13
  • Mentor and evaluate coaches and instructors
  • Communicate with families and regional leadership
  • Manage scheduling, equipment, and site logistics
Qualifications:
  • Experience leading youth programs or sports camps
  • Baseball/softball coaching or playing background (high school level or higher preferred)
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly dependable with strong professional presence
Commitment:
  • 6-week summer season (July 6 - August 14, 2026)
  • Monday-Friday, approximately 8 hours per day
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Background screening required
  • May be responsible for driving a rented cargo van
Compensation:
$1,360-$1,500 per week
